Water Restrictions - Burn Ban

Restrictions are in effect immediately. Even numbered houses may water on even numbered days - odd numbered houses may water on odd numbered days ONLY. 

Watering is allowed between 6:00pm and 8:00pm ONLY

Extreme fire danger conditions in the Black Hills is forcing the City of Whitewood to implement a burn ban.  

The Whitewood Volunteer Fire Department prohibits ALL OPEN BURNING including campfires, charcoal grills, outdoor fireplaces and fireworks at this time. 

Use of propane grills and stoves with a controllable on/off valve and that are at least 10 feet away form combustible structures or plants are permitted.
